DISCLAIMER:
I honestly don't know what a computer cookie is. Periodically, I go into my browser settings to "erase cookies." I'm told this is a good thing to do for online hygiene. But my site is apparently like everything else on the internet in term of privacy. If it makes you feel better, I can't see and don't care what other sites you visit. I'm just glad you're here.
I don't sell any data; I can't even see who you are. I think what "cookies" are supposed to do is track link clicks — so if you arrived here by clicking on a link posted somewhere else, a cookie was created that says "aha — the xyz link resulted in a visit to this website!"
The only thing I'm trying to do with "cookies" is to see how many people visit my website, and if the uber-expensive ads I sometimes run on social media ACTUALLY yield any new visitors. I still don't know how to figure that out, but this is why we should all make our kids study computer programming in high school :)
If you don't like the idea of computerized baked goods anonymously tracking the links you clicked, please go into your browser settings to erase cookies. Since that's what I do, I can only hope that helps.
