- "I liked the whole siren subculture and how different it was from the mages and the fae. I also liked how familiar fantasy themes (oracles, spells, etc.) were mixed in with modern science (mri’s & operations)"

Mages Unbound (2020)
- "This book just continues where the first book left off, but it was a faster read. The intricacies introduced in the first book are now becoming clearer. I would not read it as a standalone. Because I read Sirens Unbound first, it did not take much to figure out the continuation of the storyline."
